Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Priority Auto Protection website or purchasing a vehicle service contract. By accessing our website or purchasing a contract, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using our website and services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Vehicle service contracts sold by Priority Auto Protection are separate legal agreements governed by the specific terms outlined in each contract document. The contract document — not these Terms of Service — governs what is and is not covered, claim procedures, exclusions, and all other coverage-related matters. These Terms govern your use of our website and general service relationship.
To be eligible for coverage, your vehicle must:
All prices quoted are in U.S. dollars. A one-time administrative fee of $116 is charged at enrollment. Monthly premiums are charged on your selected billing date. Prices are subject to change; however, your contracted rate is locked in for the term of your agreement once enrolled. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers.
Coverage is subject to a standard waiting period of 30 days and 1,000 miles from the contract start date. Any mechanical failures or breakdowns that occur during the waiting period are not covered. This waiting period exists to protect against claims for pre-existing conditions.
To be eligible for claim payment, you must: (a) have your vehicle diagnosed by a licensed repair facility; (b) contact Priority Auto Protection at 803-839-0088 BEFORE any repairs begin; (c) receive written or verbal authorization before repairs proceed; and (d) pay your applicable deductible to the repair facility. Unauthorized repairs are not eligible for reimbursement.
Vehicle service contracts have exclusions. Common exclusions include but are not limited to: pre-existing conditions, routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, filters), wear items (brake pads, tires, wiper blades, belts), cosmetic damage, damage resulting from accidents or collisions, damage caused by lack of proper maintenance, modifications to the vehicle, and environmental damage. Please review your specific contract document for the complete list of exclusions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Priority Auto Protection's total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your vehicle service contract shall not exceed the total premiums paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your vehicle service contract shall first be addressed through our customer service team. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, conducted in Columbia, South Carolina. You waive your right to participate in class action litigation.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
